Request Account & Data Deletion
Hungry Squirrel — Account Deletion Request
You can request permanent deletion of your Hungry Squirrel account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do this — both result in the same complete deletion.
How to Request Deletion
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
- Open the Hungry Squirrel app and sign in.
- Go to Profile (bottom tab or side menu).
- Scroll to the Delete Account section.
- Tap Delete Account, then type DELETE to confirm.
- Your account and all associated data are removed immediately and you are signed out.
Option 2 — By email
Send an email to our support team from the email address registered to your account:
britt@hungrysquirrelfood.comUse the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the email address on your account. We process requests within 7 days.
Data That Is Deleted
- Profile information (display name, bio, profile photo, phone number)
- All dish listings you created
- All orders (both as buyer and seller)
- All messages and conversations
- Ratings and reviews you wrote
- Buyer ratings about you
- Favorites and blocks
- Complaints and no-show reports
- Date requests and availability
- Seller earnings and commission records
- Referral codes and referral history
- Seller location sharing records
- Buyer subscriptions and notification settings
Data That May Be Retained
- Aggregated, anonymized records retained where required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes — with all personally identifiable information removed.
- Transaction records may be kept for up to 90 days to resolve outstanding disputes, chargebacks, or commission payments, then permanently deleted.
- Email logs may be retained briefly to confirm the deletion request was processed, then deleted.
Processing Timeline
In-app deletion: Immediate — all data is removed the moment you confirm.
Email request: Within 7 days of receiving your request. You'll get a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
This deletion process applies to your Hungry Squirrel account and data only. It does not delete your Base44 platform account or any other apps. If you have questions, contactbritt@hungrysquirrelfood.com.
